How to Print 10x15 Photos
- 10×15 borderless
- Per print ≈ $0.30
- From 100 prints ≈ $0.22
- Free shipping over ≈ $6.05
- VAT included
There are four ways to print 10×15 photos: at home with a photo printer and 10×15 (4×6 in) photo paper, at a store kiosk such as Migros, at a photo studio, or by uploading the photos and receiving the prints by parcel. Whichever you choose, cropping to 2:3 and 1200×1800 pixels at 300 DPI gives the sharpest result.
Key takeaways
- Four routes: a home photo printer, an in-store print kiosk, a photo studio or an online order.
- At home, set paper type to photo paper, size to 10×15 / 4×6 in and keep scale at 100%; borderless is a separate driver option.
- A 10×15 print at the Migros Jet Photo kiosk costs 16.95 TL (migros.com.tr, 07.10.2026); at a photo studio the ATO 2026 tariff caps a single 10×15 print at 76.50 TL excluding VAT.
- A kiosk suits one or two urgent prints; an online order with a price that drops by quantity suits albums of dozens.
- Same-day prints are possible at a kiosk, a photo studio or at home; online orders are printed once payment is confirmed and arrive by parcel.
- On every route, crop to 2:3 and keep at least 200 DPI at 10×15.

Where can you print 10x15 photos? Four routes compared
| Route | What you need | Price info | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Home printer | Photo printer, 10×15 photo paper, ink | Paper and ink; depends on the printer | Paper type and 100% scale in the driver |
| Store kiosk (Migros Jet Photo) | Phone and a store with the machine | 16.95 TL per print (migros.com.tr, 07.10.2026) | Ask whether the machine is working |
| Photo studio | File, memory stick or phone | ATO 2026 maximum 76.50 TL (excl. VAT) | The tariff is a ceiling; waiting time varies by shop |
| Online order | Phone or computer | Tiered by total number of prints (10×15 page) | Printed once payment is confirmed, arrives by parcel |
Whichever route you choose, the essentials are the same: the photo is cropped to the 2:3 ratio of 10×15 paper and must be large enough to put enough pixels on every inch of paper. At 300 DPI that is 1200×1800 pixels; a 12 MP phone photo is well above it. The exact paper size in millimetres and how many pixels each source leaves are on the page answering how big a 10x15 photo is in cm and pixels; the difference between the routes lies in who prints and how many photos you print.
Third-party prices in the table come from their own pages and are dated: the Migros price from the migros.com.tr product page (07.10.2026), the photo studio row from the Ankara Chamber of Commerce 2026 maximum price tariff. The ATO tariff is a ceiling for businesses registered with the chamber; the actual price may be lower. Online, the price per print drops in steps with the total number of prints in the basket; the current table is on 10×15 photo print price.
Printing ID photos is a different job: frames to be cut to a document size are arranged on a single 10×15 sheet and the paper is cut up. Those steps are in the ID photo reprint guide; this page covers ordinary photos printed at 10×15.
How do you print on photo paper at home?
To print 10×15 at home you need an inkjet photo printer and 10×15 (4×6 in) photo paper. Load the paper into the printer’s photo tray or rear feeder with the glossy side facing the print side. When you print, three driver settings decide the result: paper type (e.g. “Photo paper – glossy”), paper size (10×15 cm or 4×6 in) and quality (“high” or “photo”).
Keep the scale at 100%; “fit to page” can shrink the photo and leave a margin. Borderless printing is a separate option: with it on, the printer slightly overflows the image beyond the paper and the outermost strip is lost; with it off, a thin white margin remains. If you print from a phone, the printer’s own app or the phone’s print menu offers the same settings.
When printing is done, let the paper dry for a few minutes without touching the surface; inkjet prints stacked straight away can stick together. The cost of printing at home depends on the printer’s ink system and the price of paper; for someone printing a few photos now and then, the printer and ink rarely pay for themselves, and a kiosk or online photo printing is less effort.
Colours on a home print can look different from the screen: a screen emits light while paper reflects it, and if colour management is switched on in both the printer driver and the photo app, colours are corrected twice and drift. Switching one off and comparing a single test print before printing everything saves paper and ink.
How do you print 10x15 at a store kiosk?
The Jet Photo machine found in some Migros stores prints 10×15 from your phone; the product page on migros.com.tr lists 16.95 TL for a 10×15 print (07.10.2026). You transfer the photo to the machine from your phone, adjust the crop on screen and collect the print in the store. Not every store has a machine, so ask before you go.
A kiosk is practical for one or two urgent prints; transferring and cropping dozens of photos one by one takes a long time at the machine. If you want to print an ID photo sheet at the kiosk, the steps are in a separate article: Migros Jet Photo guide.
Besides kiosks, some photo studios and stationers print 10×15 from a phone or memory stick; price, waiting time and paper vary by shop. Asking beforehand how to send the file (cable, memory stick, message) keeps the phone photo from being sent as a downsized copy; why messaging apps shrink photos is explained under printing a photo received on WhatsApp.
How do you choose crop and copies when ordering online?
When you order online you upload the photos from your phone or computer, see on screen how each one will sit on 10×15 paper and receive the prints by parcel. Our steps run Photos → Preview → Delivery → Payment. Photos appear on screen the moment you select them and upload three at a time in the background; on a computer you can drag photos from a folder and drop them anywhere on the page or on the wizard window. In the Preview step each photo is shown in a 10×15 frame; you can drag and zoom the crop, rotate the photo and print it with “Fill” or “White border”: “Fill” covers the paper and trims a thin strip from the edges, “White border” shows the whole photo as a white-bordered print.
You set copies per photo with the −/+ buttons or for every photo with “Copies for all: 1·2·3” at the top; “Fill” and “White border” also apply to all photos in one tap. The status bar at the top shows the total number of prints and the price steps, and a photo with low resolution gets a warning above it: “A bit soft” or “May print blurry”. One order holds up to 200 photos and 500 prints in total (copies included); each file can be up to 30 MB in JPG, PNG, WEBP or HEIC. Once payment is confirmed, the print file is prepared for each photo at 1200×1800 pixels at 300 DPI and printed borderless on glossy paper with an Epson L8050 photo printer. Step-by-step selection from a phone is in print photos from your phone.
A quick check before printing: are the photos originals or small copies saved from an app; is a face or text too close to the edge; is the same moment selected twice as two different files (say the original and an edited copy)? If you pick the very same file again, the basket already tells you. Because the Preview step shows every photo as it will sit on paper, these three questions are answered at a glance.
Can you get photos printed the same day?
Same-day prints are possible where the printing happens on the spot: at a store kiosk with a machine you collect the print right there while you wait, and at photo studios and stationers the wait depends on the shop and its workload that day. If you have a photo printer and paper at home, printing takes a few minutes.
Online orders are not delivered the same day. Prints are prepared once payment is confirmed, then printed, packed and handed to the carrier; the estimated shipping time is shown under the shipping card in the Delivery step. For addresses in Istanbul’s courier zones, a next-day courier option may also appear in the Delivery step once you choose the city and district. Shipping and courier details are on the 10x15 photo prints page.
For a dated occasion (a birthday board, a school event or a gift album) the safest route combines both: order the bulk of the photos online early and print the one or two last-minute photos at a kiosk or photo studio.
Kiosk or online: which makes sense when?
If you need one or two photos today and a store with a machine is nearby, the kiosk is the fastest route. If you are printing dozens of photos from a holiday, a year or a baby’s first months for an album, ordering online is usually more practical: you choose and crop the photos at home at your own pace and the price per print drops as the quantity grows.
If you regularly print many photos, a home photo printer can make sense; then paper, ink and the printer itself enter the calculation. Think about the paper surface too: glossy prints show colours more vividly, a matte surface reduces reflections behind frame glass. Our prints are glossy only; there is no matte option. Common sizes and where 10×15 sits among them are on photo print sizes.
Whichever route you print by, storage is what keeps a print lasting: keeping it away from direct sunlight, humidity and heat, and not letting its surface touch another print in an album or frame, delays fading and sticking. A mount that leaves a small gap between the glass and the photo is the easiest way to do this in a frame.
The question that makes the decision easier: who will choose and crop the photos, and when are they needed? Needed today and only a few: a store. Needed this week and many: an online order. Needed every week: a home printer is usually the least effort. A summary of prices by route is on photo print prices.
