Image Licence and Usage Terms

This page explains the copyright and usage terms of the images published on vesikalik.com.tr. Our aim is to let others reuse the example photos that have teaching value, while protecting both our own rights and our users' data.

Images Covered by the Licence

The licence covers rule example photos only: the frames shown in the "correct / incorrect passport photo examples" grid on our guide and document pages. Each grid consists of nine frames of the same person — one that meets the rules and eight that show the most common rejection reasons. The rights holder for these photos is Mert Çelik Denizer.

Terms of Use

You may use these photos free of charge for non-commercial information and educational purposes, provided that all of the following conditions are met:

• Attribution: the notice "Source: vesikalik.com.tr" must be visible below or immediately next to the image.
• Link: that notice must contain a link to the page you took the image from, or to the vesikalik.com.tr home page. How you qualify that link is entirely your choice; using rel="nofollow", rel="ugc" or rel="sponsored" does not breach this licence.
• Integrity: the image may be rescaled or cropped, but it must not be altered so that a correct example is presented as incorrect, or an incorrect one as correct.
• Context: the images may only be used when explaining passport/biometric photo rules. Using them to depict a person, as a model in product or service promotion, or as an avatar or profile picture is prohibited.
• No redistribution: the images may not be added to stock image banks, datasets or similar collections, and may not be used to train artificial intelligence models.

Commercial use (advertising, paid training material, printed or digital products) requires our prior written permission. If any of these conditions is breached, the licence terminates automatically and we will request that the image be taken down.

What the Licence Does Not Cover

• Document images: the ID card, passport, driving licence and similar document renderings on the site are never licensed; they may not be copied or distributed.
• Brand assets: the vesikalik.com.tr name, logo, typography, interface design and icon set.
• User photos: photos uploaded by our customers or produced by us for them. These are kept in private, non-public storage, are never published and are never licensed. See the Privacy Policy for details.

The People in the Rule Photos Are Not Real

The people in the rule example photos are generated with artificial intelligence. Nobody shown in these frames is a real human being; none of them is a portrait, photograph or likeness of a real person. No models, actors or customer photos were used. These images therefore contain no personality rights, model release or biometric data belonging to anyone. If you nevertheless notice a resemblance, write to [email protected] and we will review and remove the frame in question.

Document Images Are Samples

The document images on the site are samples. Every name, surname, number, date, barcode and other data printed on them is fictitious and corresponds to no real person or record. These images are not valid documents and cannot be used in any official procedure. vesikalik.com.tr does not represent any public authority, consulate or official body, and claims no affiliation with, authorisation by or endorsement from such institutions. Document names and dimensions are used for identification purposes only.

Permission and Contact

For commercial use permission, a request to use an image outside the licence, or a takedown notice, write to us stating the address of the image and your intended use. We aim to answer requests as soon as possible.
