How Much Does a Photo Studio Charge in Turkey? The Official Chamber Tariff

Studio prices in Turkey have an official ceiling: chambers of commerce and of tradesmen approve a maximum price tariff for photographers every year. The table is taken verbatim from the Ankara Chamber of Commerce 2026 tariff: amounts exclude VAT, are ceilings (a studio may charge less) and bind only businesses registered with that chamber. The tariff prices biometric and standard ID photos on the same line at the same rate; the digital file is a separate item.

Photographers in other cities follow their own chamber's tariff. We could not verify the 2026 lists of the Istanbul, Izmir, Bursa or Kocaeli chambers from their own publications, so we give no figures for them. Does the Price Change by City? Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir

At a studio it does — the city's chamber tariff and local rent set it. For a photo prepared online the product price is the same in all 81 provinces of Turkey; only delivery changes. The digital file downloads instantly anywhere, and printed sheets ship to any address in Turkey.

Photocopying or scanning a printed ID photo lowers its resolution and can cause sharpness problems in a biometric application. If you need more copies, an extra sheet from the same frame or a print from the digital file gives a cleaner result.
